ANNUAL DAY

JANUARY 25^th 2020 :- Our school 13th annual day was celebrated on 25/01/2020. The programe began at 5 pm. the president of the day was Rev.Sr.Annie Kuriakos CHF and other guest were Fr. Mathew Shasthampadavil, Rev.Fr.John Nooramackal,Mr.M.N.Krishna Bhat and Sr. Liya Rose CHF. The students performed very well at all the programmes and made the audience feel gracefilled occasion, 

SEMINAR ON EVALVATION OF EXAM PAPERS

JANUARY 27^th :- Mr.Varghese the Vice Principal of our school conducted a class on the evaluation of exam papers. He said we being teacher need to be liberal we need to seek the standared of children. He encouraged us saying to think positively in all the level.

CRAFT COMPETITION

JANUARY 3^rd:- The school conducted Plastic free craft competition. Nearly above 50 students took part in the competition and came out with variety of craftted things.

SELF DEFENCE CLASS

JANUARY 1 ^st 2020 :- The first day of the year began with a meaningful camp for the girls from 6th to 9th of our school Mr.Aneesh V.K SI of Badiadka police station, Mr.Shreenandh Civil Police officer, Mrs. Prasidha, Mrs. Saida and Mrs. Jayashree were present for the camp. Mr.Aneesh V.K in his meaningful class influenced children how can each girl child survive in this hectie world. Swathi of 6th standard delivered vote of thanks.

SCIENCE EXHIBITION

DECEMBER 31^st :-  The science exhibition in our school was conducted on 31/12/2019 under the leadership of science teachers and all the class teachers. The preparation began by 10.00 am and the Judges, Rev.Sr. Reenet, Sr. Mabel and Varghese sir entered the classes by 12.30 for judgement. Many of the students did their best to do the day a beautiful one.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

DECEMBER 20th :- On 20/12/2019 was the Christmas celebration at our school. The celebration at our school. The celebration began with a prayer service. The Parish Priest of St. Mary Church Badiadka Rev.Fr.Jhon Nooramackel was the chief guest of the day. He shared theChristmas message and distributed the prozes of the sports day events. The children performed a meaningful skit on the Helping hand of God. The students made the day a beautiful one by singing carrols and wishing a happy Christmas and Happy new year. At the end the Santaclous made the day a bright and wonderful. The celebration indeed as Hina the arts secreratry delivered the vote of thanks.

DECEMBER 2^nd: - The sports commity joined together and distributed II^nd and III^rd prizes of sports day, at the morning assembly.

NALLA PADAM REWARD

SEPTEMBER 31st :- Our teachers had been to Vyapar Bhavan Kanhangad to recieve the Nalla Padam award for the activities done by school in a vast level. The award was given by MP of Kasaragod Raj Mohan Unnithan.

PLASTIC WASTE MANGEMENT

NOVEMBER 15th :- There was a class for the students of our school from 7th to 10th on plastic waste management organized by CODP Mangalore. Miss Linet was the resource person of the day. Renisha of 9th std welcomed the gathering and Jeena delivered the Vote of thanks. The class a meaningful and informative one.

KG SPORTS DAY

NOVEMBER 8th :- The sports day from kg section 2nd standared was conducted on 8th November under the leadership of the students from 9th and 10th standared. They began the event with welcoming the gathereing and lso spoke about the importance of sports. The chest ntmbers were distributed and the sports items were began. All the students took part in the events and made the day a wonderful one.

DRAWING COMPITION

NOVEMBER 3rd :- the drawing competition was conducted on 3rd November under the leadership of Mrs.Bindhu from 1st to 10th standared students. The students made the drawing a clourful one through their talents of art.

CHILDRENS DAY

NOVEMBER 14th :- We gathered all the children to celebrate their day with the presence of their parent too. The chief guest day was Rev.Fr.Antony the Parish Priest of St. Mary Church Mulleria. The celebration began with a prayer service. After which the guest were called on the stage and all were welcomed for the programme. Then the chief guest spoke about the importance of the day. He said children are the gifts of God. He also reminded the responsibility of children. After that the prize were distributed of the events which took place earlier. The cultural programme began the children of different class performed different items on stage and made the day bright and beautiful. The programme ended up with the words of guatitude.

KERALA PIRAVI

NOVEMBER 1st :- We celebrated Kerala piravi. The celebration began by lighting the lamp. the guests of the day were Rev. Sr. Savidha the principal and Sr. Mable. The gathering was welcomed and there were different cultural programmes like Light music, Nadan pattu, Speech, Group song, action song, poem, Mohiniyattam and so on. The children made the day a memorable one through their cultural events. Then the principal shared the importance of the day. Then the vote of thanks was delivered and the programme came to an end.

SAHODAYA PROGRAMME

OCTOBER 30th, 31st & November 1st :- Two teachers took the students to Jaimatha school for the off stage items and on 31st October and 1st November other three teachers took the students Christ college for the on stage items. One students performed well and few of them received the prize and certificate too.

BLOOD CAMP

OCTOBER 18 th :- The nurses from KMC Badiadka had come on 18th October for a blood group checking camp to our school. Many students of our school checked their blood group.

FIT INDIA MOVEMENT- FITNESS WEEK

  In order to achieve physical fitness and to absorb physical activity and sports in day today life, we have celebrated Fitness week in our  school according to FIT INDIA MOVEMENT  - “FITNESS WEEK CELEBRATION” Circular No :- ACAD – 68  / 2019.

            The main purpose of the celebration was to take up the moto – “ Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat’. The details of the activities are given below.

            On 11^th November, Yoga for all was conducted followed by the morning assembly. Activities of Fitness and Nutrition for students as well as staff were also held on day first, Monday.

            On day second, Tuesday, free hand exercises were conducted. As mental fitness activity, a lecturing class was also given to the students by an eminent sports personnel.

            On day third, Wednesday, a Fitness Assessment of students was held in the school in the form of different games as part of ‘KHELO INDIA APP’. Poster making competitions for all students based on the theme Fit body – Fit Mind – Fit Environment - was also held on this day.

            On day Fourth, Thursday, physical activities such as Dance, Aerobics, Rope skipping, Martial Arts and Gardening were done for all students. A poem writing competition based on theme ‘Fit India School’ was also conducted  as part of the weeklong celebration.

            On day Fifth, Friday, a Sports Quiz based on fitness and sports events was also conducted for the students of 7^th,8^th, 9^th and 10^th. A seminar on Plastic Waste Management by Canara Organization for Development and Peace (CODP) Mangalore was also held in the school.

 On day Sixth, Monday, different activities and competitions for students, staff and parents were held in our school highlighting themes related to Unity in Diversity.

All these Activities really helped our students, staff and well wishers realize the changes brought in the curriculum, making such activities part and parcel of learning and moreover, keeping all physically & mentally healthy and competitive.

Sports Day

OCTOBER 11^th and 12^th  :- It was sports day at our school. The sub inspector of Badiadka police sttaion was the Chief guest of the day. He hoisted the sports flag and followed by the students of four groups exhibited the march past enthusiastically. Then the chief guest Mr.Shaju lighted the Olympic torch and handed over to the Principal followed by leaders of the school and to the other to leaders then the chief guest spoke about the influence of sports in our health and declared the sports meet of the day. The sports items were conducted house wise under the leadership of the P.T Sir Mr. Balakrishnan and incharge teachers. the day filled the students in compitative spirit to win the goal.

WALKING DAY & PTA MEETING

OCTOBER 3^rd 2019 :- as it was declared by the Prime Minister. On the occassion of Gandhi Jayanthi the 03/10/2019 should be a walking day. The students of our school walking up to the junction and picked up the litter fallen around the surrounding. It was great opportunity for the students to cultivate the quality of cleanliness.

                     All the parents of primary section gathered in the auditorium of the school for the P.T.A meeting. The meeting was began with a prayer and the gathering was welcomed. The principal of the school shared few information about the school and the students. Later the parents were an opportunity to speak to the teachers. after which the parents signed the report cards of the students.

GANDHI JAYANTHI

OCTOBER 2^nd 2019 ;- On the occassion of Gandhi Jayanthi the students cleaned the garden of our school. They worked hard to make it a beautiful garden in the memory of Gandhi.

ARTS DAY

September 16 ^th to 17 ^th 2019 :- It was the Arts day in our school. We began the programme by involving Gods blessings. the gathering was welcomed Rev. Sr. Savidha the principal of the Principal of school encouraged children to participate in the cultural items and uphold their talents. She wished them very all the best. The cultural competitions were conducted section wise. the students participated and encourage others to participate. The programme came to an end with the effort and support of all the teachers and all staff members.

ONAM AND TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

September 7th 2019 :- The Onam cum teachers day celebration was on 07/09/2019 . The X^th standard students took incharge of celebrating the teachers day. The programme began by inviting Gods blessings. the teachers gathered all the students and conducted games for them . on the occassion of Onam the pookalam was put and teachers were honered on the occassion of teachers day. All the students wished the teachers and X ^th standard students conducted some cultural programmes. The day was memorable one.

MID TERM EXAMINATION & FIT INDIA MOVEMENT LAUNCHING

Aug 29^th 2019:- The Midterm examination began on 29/08/2019 and ended on 07/09/2019.

                           The widely welcomed Fit India Movement was launched by the Prime Minister on 29th August 2019. The launching session was live teli cast in the Doordarshan channel and the students of classes 9th and 10th watched the programme and gained meaningful information.

INTERSCHOOL PATRIOTIC SONG COMPETITION

Aug 19^th 2019:- CBSE interschool patriotic song competition was conducted in our school. There were 5 schools participated including ours. The schools were,

• St. Elizabeth Vellarikundu,
• Sanjeo Padpu
• Amritha  Vidyalaya
• St. Marys  Periya and
• Holy Family Convent Public School.

The Judges for the day were Dr.Sneha Prakash, Mrs.Vidyalakshmi, Mrs.Ashwini. The programme began with a prayer song. Anette Renisha D’Souza welcomed all and lead the whole programme. Competition winners were rewarded with the momento and all the participant received certificate from CBSE. The programme ended at 1.30.

FEAST OF St. ALPHONSA

   JULY 28th 2019 :  The celebration of the feast of St. Alphonsa on this occasion we celebrated the feast day of our Principal Rev. Sr. Savidha. We had a prayer service and few cultural programmes. The students and wished sister through songs flowers.

EXAMINATION

JULY 15th 2019 : The first mid term examination was began and ended on 28th July 2019.

ELECTION DAY

JULY 7 ^th 2019 : Today we had Election in our school of SPL, Arts, Sports and general secratory of both primary and higher section Organized by the social science teachers. Gagan Ram from VIII Std. was an example to the school as he introduced his hande made voting machine and made us feel proud as the student took part in the election using the voting machine.

KG SECTION MEETING

JULY 1^st 2019 : The meeting was held on 1^st July 2019 at 2.30 Pm. It was began with a prayer song. The manager, the principal, teachers and all the parents were present for the meeting. First of all Mrs. Sony welcomed the gathering. After that the principal shared the rules and regulations of the school. she also introduced the teachers to them. After that the parents were given chance to express their opinion. Mrs. Swapna delivered vote of thanks thus the meeting ended at 3.45 Pm.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

June 21st : Holy Family Convent Public School,Badiadka has celebrated 5th International Yoga Day whole heartedly during the regular assembly in the school auditorium.Principal Rev.Sr.Savitha declared open the Yoga display of the day. Students were given prior practice for the feasibility of conducting it at ease. Students Yoga experts Sneha and Priyamvadha of 10th std. along with Niranjan and Sakethraj of 8th std. displayed different asanas for the students to follow.

    A quiz competition based on yoga was also conducted in the school to highlight the occasion.

Reading Day

 June 19^{th :}    On the death anniversary of P.N. Panikar we celebrated reading day. As he introduced the Library called readers corner. Kumari. Varsha C.P read a special speech on the life of P.N Panikar and filled all of us with meaning information.

Kinder Garden Started

  June 17^th : The title new comers of LKG entered into our school. The KG teachers welcomed them as they distributed colorful baloons. The IV ^th Std. children consoled the crying children as they sang action songs.

Bl.Mariam Theressia’s Feast

 June 7^th :  we remembered and celebrated the feast of Bl. Mariam Theressia,the founder of Holy Family congregation, we had a special prayer and speech on her during assembly. The sweet were distributed on this occation.

REOPENING

JUNE 06th :   After the summer holidays the children began their journey of education again on June 6^th 2019. The students were welcomed back to their school in the new classroom.

NOV 14 ; Childrens day was celebrated gradly. There was a cultural gathering by the small kids . students recieved prizes and medals for their achievments . Rev Fr. Anoop Chittettu was the chief guest.

An Extempore competition & quiz competition was conducted on october 1st about Mahathma Gandi and SUPW. Students of class 7th to 10th were taken out for the cleanliness drive. we cleanes Primary Health Center and Panchayath office compound. The Panchayath president appriciated the students and teachers. students of K.G to VIth  standard cleaned the school premises & kids park

Red Day Celebration

Sept 25:The Red day of KG section was celebrated on 25th september with the presence of Rev.Sr.Reenet, the manager of our school. All the kids together with their parents participated in the celebration.

Sports day

Sept 19&22: Sports day of 2018 was on 19/09/2018 and 22/09/2018. It was inaguarated by Panchayath President Mr.Krishna Bhat by hosting the sports flag. The students of four groups by the guidence of their leaders marched forward with the tune of our school band.

    On 19th September ,we conducted various athletic competitions,next day we had different games. The compititions were held group wise with the announcement of the results, the came to an end. 

Hindi club inaguration

Sept14 : Hindi club of the school was inagurated by principal by publishing "KAVISANGRAH" named magazine .There was a cultural fusion by students.

Sep. 5 :  For the rememberance of Dr. S. RADHAKRISHNAN, Teachers day is celebrated in the school.  The students took initiatives to conduct the programmes on the day .

Flood relief fund

August 17 : Students , Staff and management of  the school collected rupees 30000 for the purpose of flood relief fund and sent it to wayanad social service center (WSSC). Some clothes and stationeries also  were distributed.

Independence day

The nations 70th Independence day was celebrated in the school with flag hoisting and sweets distribution. Mr Mahin Kelot was the chief guest. because of flood we joined in their sorrow by avoiding functions

Principals feast

July 28 : The Principles feast was celebrated on july 28. As it is the feast of St Alphonsa. students as well as teachers wished her with flowers and gifts along with some cultural activities.

July 24 : The Invastiture ceremony of theschool pupil leaders  was conducted on 24th july, 2018. Mr Mahin Kelot , the PTA President was the chief guest of the funtion

Kannada club inaguration

July 13 ,2018: The school kannada club was inagurated by the principal . The club is to make everyone the importance of kannada language. There were cultural activities by the students.

June 29 : School science club was inagurated in june 29 by the Principal . The theme of the club is " GO GREEN WITH SCIOENCE CLUB". Manager and Vice -Principal also were present.

School Parliment Election

June 27 - The general election of the school pupil leaders is conducted on june 27, 2018. The election processes were conducted by social science club teachers. all  the students exercised their right to vote .

K.G Section Reopening

June 18 : After the represhing summer break the K.G section of the school reopened on june 18, 2018. The campus accorded a rousing reception to the bulding learners. Principal sister welcomed all including parents who came for  the first day
